Set Pieces

Press Conference:
A meeting where a Policeman or Detective give information about a certain topic or case. Many magazine and newspaper journalists attend to ask questions and write stories.


Interrogations:
Usually a one on one scene with the police and the suspect, the police use their interrogation skills to try and break the suspect to release more evidence and information. Very confrontational.
  
 Initial Crime Scene Investigation:
This is the first sighting of the crime scene, it includes police tape, the body, cones for evidence. and various people taking photos and picking up swabs off of certain substances and objects.



The Chase:
Usually occurs when the police/detective are on a mission to catch the escaping criminal. Iconography that is usually used is: Cars, Narrow Streets, Speed, Close-ups.



The Confession:
Happens at the end when all the evidence has built up on to the criminal. In Sherlocks first epidsode it was at the very end and Sherlock had to use a form of torture to get the confession out of the criminal.
